I occasionally get retained for commissions and they are not cheap. Often I suggest that people submit to me pictures of themselves or a model that they would like to have edited/manipulated.

This puts people a little off. Many times people have asked, "Well if I take the picture, what do you do?"

My answer is, "I make it art."

BTW, this shot of this model, is hauntingly beautiful. Between her facial expression, and the lighting... well this is a shot that was definitely art before I got to it.

Remember great stock makes great art.
